Sheikh Mustafa Raslan has memorized the whole Qur’an at early age of his life. He holds ijaza in both Hafs and Sho‘bah dialects of the Qur’an, in a chain connected to the Prophet peace be upon him.
He is graduate of Al-Azhar University where he has achieved all his education, from the very early level, till the BA in Islamic studies in English and the MA in the field of scientific interpretation of the Glorious Qur’an.
He worked as imam and preacher for the Egyptian Ministry of Islamic Endowments for eight years. In 2013, he participated in the international visitor leadership program sponsored by the Department of State, interfaith dialogue.
In 2017, He moved to the UK to live and work there, and he is currently imam at Hopwood Lane mosque in Halifax. He is involved mainly in Dawa and teaching Islamic studies with JMAH and other mosques. Many students graduate through his help every year, each studying to develop a deep understanding of different Islamic topics.
